Walton Trading (WT Supplies) was established in 1980 by Ernest Walton. The vision that Ernest Walton had was customer and people first. Ernest Walton wanted to supply the full office products, ethically and with respect. Mark & Sara Exley brought the business in 2003 and kept the name and legacy of the business. WT had come to be known as a company who cares about people and delivering an excellent service. When Ernest Walton sold the business to Mark & Sara he was keen that the values that WT stood for were maintained.
Since then Mark & Sara have grown WT to one of the biggest local stationery brands by putting our customers at the centre of what we do. We are proud & privileged to still be working with the original WT customers to this day.
We believe it is essential that our suppliers don’t exploit the environment so that they can bring cheap products to the market.
Therefore it is really important that we scrutinise who supplies us and their ethical and environmental commitments. We check that our suppliers are signed up to an ethical sourcing structure that does not exploit young people.
